Frank A. Composto, Esq., has been a practicing attorney for over 40 years. He is the Senior member and owner of the Law Offices of Composto & Composto which has been in continuous, active practice since its founding in 1932 by his father, the late Honorable Frank Composto, Justice, Supreme Court of Kings County (retired).

Frank was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of Brooklyn Preparatory High School (Class of 1964), he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from LeMoyne College, Syracuse, New York in 1968. He served in the United States Army Reserve (Infantry) where he received the highest rank of Captain (Date of Commission 1970). In 1971, he received a Juris Doctor Degree from St. John's University School of Law and he was admitted to the New York State Bar, Second Department in 1972. He was also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts, Eastern and Southern Districts in 1974 and the United States Supreme Court in 1994.
Frank is Past President and active member of The Kings County Defenders Association. He is Past President and active member of the Catholic Lawyers Guild and also Past President and active member of The Columbian Lawyers Associations of Brooklyn and of Rockland County, New York. He is a founding member and Past President of the Confederation of Columbian Lawyers Association. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, The New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The Brooklyn Bar Association, The Defense Association of New York, The Brooklyn Manhattan Trial Lawyers Association and The Brooklyn Women's Bar Association.

Frank is a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) lecturer. He has published articles on trial practice for both the Columbian Lawyers Association of Rockland and for the Brooklyn Women's Bar Association.
From 1978 to 1981, Frank was a member of the faculty of Elizabeth Seton College in Yonkers, New York instructing in Business Law and Paralegal Studies. He has been a guest lecturer and adjunct professor of Legal Ethics at Long Island University in the Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program.
Frank is also an active member of various religious and fraternal organizations including the Knights of Columbus in which he served as Grand Knight of two councils and as a Navigator of the Fourth Degree. He is also a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in New City, New York where he serves as an Officer of the Parish Council. He is also a member of The Sons of Italy.
Frank resides in New City with his wife and best friend, Rosanne. They have two grown daughters; Joanna Marlow who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and Andrea F. Composto, his partner, who joined the firm in June 2003 and resides in Nyack, New York.
